Yes, Star Wars: Galactic Racer will feature podracing.
Fuse Games head Matt Webster spoke with GamesRadar+ and talked about the multiplayer racing game Star Wars: Galactic Racer, which will feature many vehicles — both familiar and new, and even customization, from appearance to performance. And of course, podracing is included, especially since Sebulba appeared in the debut trailer.
The developers also spent a lot of time working on the third-person camera, which "largely defines the feel of the game," with some angles bringing you closer to the vehicle for a "sense of speed and, of course, the situational awareness needed for close-quarters racing." Meanwhile, the first-person view offers immersion and a cinematic feel.
We believe this style of high-speed, intense, aggressive arcade racing on tracks is not yet fully represented by modern HD gamers.
You can't create a racing simulator based on Star Wars without podracing, right? The main idea of the game is to become an elite racer in the Galactic League, and podracing is the pinnacle of speed and racing in the Star Wars galaxy.
