Xbox has unveiled a Gears of War: E-Day-themed pizza cutter - it has already sold out.

Xbox has teamed up with US pizza chain Prince St. Pizza on a promotional campaign for the upcoming game Gears of War: E-Day, and the centerpiece is a pizza cutter modeled after the game's Lancer rifle.

The limited-edition Prototype Lancer pizza cutter went on sale through Prince St. Pizza's official merch store and sold out almost immediately, falling short of demand despite its $60 price tag. The cutting tool is built from durable ABS plastic rather than metal, and it comes with a stainless steel blade.

Prince St. Pizza representatives described the design's handling benefits:

• The Prototype Lancer-style handle lets you cut even the juiciest pizzas without getting your fingers dirty, while the upper part of the "barrel" serves as a convenient support point for your second hand, ensuring maximum cutting efficiency.

The promotional push extends beyond merchandise. Customers in the US and Canada can order the Emergence Pie, a themed pizza made with a special vodka-based sauce that is available throughout October. Each purchase also includes a code that unlocks an in-game pizza emblem for Gears of War: E-Day.

The campaign is scheduled to run until early November, though the Lancer cutter batch is already gone.
