World War Z Launches Collaboration with "The Walking Dead"

Saber Interactive has released a story expansion for World War Z: Aftermath in collaboration with "The Walking Dead" franchise. The new episode includes three chapters set in iconic locations from the series: the prison, Alexandria, and Grady Memorial Hospital. Four playable characters have also been added: Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Negan.

The main zombie hordes have been replaced with classic "walkers," and a new special enemy, the "Spiked Walker," has been added. To defeat it, players must first knock it down with gunfire and then finish it off in melee combat. The arsenal has been expanded with Michonne's katana and Negan's baseball bat, as well as thematic weapon skins—Rick's revolver and Daryl's crossbow.
