Cameron Begins Work on "Terminator 7" Script

James Cameron has announced he is working on the script for "Terminator 7," a new installment following the failure of "Dark Fate" in 2019. He acknowledged that the rapid development of AI complicates the writing process, but he is now ready to devote his full attention to the project.

Having completed the promotion for "Avatar," Cameron will focus on the script, utilizing an already prepared stack of notes. Work will intensify at the beginning of next year.

Cameron also noted that writing science fiction is difficult now because technological reality has caught up with fiction, and the future has become unpredictable.

Previously, he stated his intention to start the story anew, without connection to the previous films. The return of Sarah Connor and the T-800 is unlikely. The new story will be about ordinary people fighting for survival in a world where power and AI are aligned against them.
