Blizzard Reveals Details of Some BlizzCon 2026 Activities and Contests

Ahead of BlizzCon's return in September, Blizzard is already announcing some of the major events of this large-scale gathering. This time, they are revealing details about the Community Night, which will take place on September 12th.

Events scheduled for the main BlizzCon stage at the Anaheim Convention Center include:

• a cosplay contest,
• an art contest,
• a short film contest, and
• a talent contest.

If you are interested in showcasing your talents in any of these categories, Blizzard is accepting applications until mid-May.

Each of these contests has various categories, such as cosplay categories like "Master Artisan," "Colossal Creation," and "Dynamic Duo." Participants vying for the short film creator award must submit an original film no longer than 3 minutes. Artists can submit original works in physical or digital format.

In addition to the cosplay contest, there is a cosplay showcase—a more informal event where participants can display their creations in a relaxed, non-competitive setting.
