Valve updated Counter-Strike 2, reworking Inferno and making changes to the marketplace
Valve pushed an update for Counter-Strike 2. It’s not a tiny patch; most attention went to Inferno, though there are a few other bits players will notice.
On Inferno they’ve blocked the route into the "Prison" area — that one cut changes common paths, so expect different peeks and rotates (A-site strategies, in particular, may feel off at first). The balcony at bombsite A is bigger now, and the window beside the second mid balcony was tweaked a bit; these edits shift some tactical options during rounds, sometimes subtly, sometimes not.
Elsewhere, small geometry and environmental glitches were fixed on Warden and Sanctum. Nothing dramatic, just cleanup that prevents odd clipping or weird visuals.
Marketplace rules were altered: items listed for sale can still be equipped in matches, but you cannot alter their look — e.g., no applying stickers or making other visual changes — while the item is on the market. Also, the marketplace terminal gained a new setting: you can set a max price for listings (FYI: “max price” is available directly in the terminal).
Finally, there are minor touches scattered through the patch. One of the odder ones — and yes, someone on the team cared enough to change it — is the running chickens’ tilt animation. Small, but now different.
