Valheim Turns Five: A New Content Patch is Already Out

To celebrate five years since its early access release, the survival game Valheim has received an anniversary update, version 0.221.10. The patch brings not only festive but also practical additions.

The game has been updated with a thematic anniversary hat, a new recipe for glazed buns, and additional emotes for communication in co-op. New decorative elements for building and character customization have also been introduced.

On the technical side, the update includes a transition to an updated engine version, numerous fixes, and improved optimization for the portable Steam Deck console. Thanks to these refinements, the game now demonstrates increased stability and performance on this device.

As part of the celebratory promotion, Valheim is temporarily available on Steam with a 50% discount.
