Update 1.4.5 for Terraria will be released on January 27

The independent team Re-Logic has finally revealed the exact release date for the major 1.4.5 update for Terraria. The legendary sandbox game will get a fresh batch of content on January 27.

As a reminder, Terraria last received a content update in the fall of 2022. As is often the case, the "final" patch turned out not to be final at all, as the authors came up with new ideas. In particular, update 1.4.5 will offer small crossovers with Dead Cells and Palworld, a bunch of new items, weapons, decorations, and so on. You can find the detailed patch notes on the wiki.

This time, Re-Logic decided not to repeat past mistakes and not to call the upcoming patch the last one. On the contrary, the developers have plans for the future, including the implementation of cross-platform multiplayer.
