Undecember has launched its new season, New Age, with a major update to mark the game's fourth anniversary.

Needs Games studio celebrated the fourth anniversary of the isometric action RPG Undecember with the launch of a new season, New Age. The update has made significant changes to key high-level game systems. The developers have revised the resource economy and dungeon mechanics to make the gameplay more dynamic and reduce the dependence on accumulating rare consumables.

One of the main innovations was the redesign of the Abyss Gate system. Now, players receive special rewards for completing each of the 100 stages for the first time. In addition, the number of attempts to upgrade equipment in the Abyss Forge has been increased to five, and all penalties for damage from minions and traps have been completely removed.

The mechanics of "Dark Energy" have been significantly changed. The resource is no longer required to enter the Chaos dungeons — now it can be used as an amplifier to increase the chance of rare essences dropping. At the same time, "Dark Energy" has been completely removed from the list of trophies and rewards for quests.

The developers have also revised the balance of boss battles in endgame content. Enemies have received a significant increase in health, and the new "Fading Impulse" mechanic reduces the effectiveness of critical and maximum hits, making battles more tactical and thoughtful.

Three Transcendent Bond Runes and more than forty Corrupted Abyss Stones have been added to the game for skill customization. At the same time, the gem rating requirements for unlocking new stone slots have been reduced several times over.

There have also been changes to the economic system. Merchant Brown now has daily resurrection scrolls that can be purchased with gold. In addition, discounts have been introduced for a month: up to 90% on the name change service and up to 20% on the expansion of all types of storage tabs.

In honor of the project's fourth anniversary, players can look forward to festive bonuses. Just for visiting the server, each user will receive a new pet — the Observer. And in seasonal mode, accelerated leveling is available with experience bonuses of up to 300%.
