Trovo Platform Discontinues Financial Support Programs for Creators in North America, Europe, and Latin America

The streaming platform Trovo has announced a significant transformation of its content monetization system. Starting February 1, 2026, the service will completely terminate all financial creator support programs in North America, Europe, and Latin America.

A key change is the closure of the Trovo 500 partner initiative, as well as other regional incentive systems that were previously funded directly by the platform.

In an official address to content creators, Trovo representatives described this decision as difficult but objectively necessary under current circumstances. The company intends to conduct a deep review of its future development strategy, which necessitated such measures.

At the same time, the platform's administration did not forget to express sincere gratitude to content creators for their invaluable contribution to the formation and development of the community. The address specifically highlighted the creativity and dedication demonstrated by creators in building a lively and active audience for the service.

It is important to emphasize that, despite the termination of direct financial support programs, the platform retains the full set of traditional monetization tools for users. Streamers will still be able to generate income through the system of paid subscriptions, which viewers can continue to purchase under the usual terms. The system of voluntary donations also remains fully available—the donation mechanism will continue to function without any restrictions. Furthermore, the system for awarding internal currency based on audience activity will operate normally. This allows content creators to retain the possibility of monetization based on the direct support of their fans.

Thus, Trovo is shifting its focus to earning models built directly between streamers and their viewers, stepping back from the role of a direct financial intermediary in the specified regions.
