Todd doesn't like remakes, but prefers remasters.
The "Little Ladies' Day" event in Final Fantasy 14 is returning, and players can look forward to numerous rewards inspired by a modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese Hinamatsuri festival.
This year, the event revisits the popular idol theme, offering several themed items. Full-print t-shirts—yes, just like those "otaku" ones in real life—will be featured, dedicated not only to the Songbirds, the classic Little Ladies' Day NPCs, but also to last year's idol, Piko. As for decorations, a weeping cherry blossom will debut, along with several posters and an orchestrion drum.
More relevant for many will likely be the new "cheering" emote set, which includes "Rhythm" and "Light" styles, each available in three colors. Just like real otaku fans from Japan.
Little Ladies' Day aims to celebrate the real-life Hinamatsuri festival. The in-game event tells the story of a young princess who proved her independence to her strict father after running away.
