This Year Saw No Greed from Nintendo: Speedrunners Raise Nearly $2.5 Million for a Good Cause

The latest Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 charity marathon raised $2.4 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. The amount was slightly below last year's record of $2.5 million.

The event, held from January 5th to 10th, brought the speedrunning community together to support cancer prevention research and programs.

To date, the Games Done Quick event series has raised nearly $60 million for charitable causes, solidifying its role in supporting important medical initiatives.
