A Whole Month Until the New Region Arrives in Where Winds Meet

The Everstone studio has published an open letter to players of Where Winds Meet, revealing details about the second season's content release. Some information was previously shared via a roadmap — February will feature events, a new sect, and two world bosses.

On March 6th, the path to a grand journey will open — the "Hexi" DLC. This will be an immersion into pure fantasy, a return to the origins of legends where myths about heroes were born. The journey will unfold like an epic series, chapter by chapter. Approximately every twenty-eight days, the gates to new majestic regions will open before travelers, starting from the windswept Yumen Outpost, through the harsh lands of Liangzhou, all the way to the heart of ancient tales — Qinchuanyuan.

In March, the martial arts path "Bamboocut - Dust" will be unlocked, combining elegance and ruthlessness.

April will introduce the legendary Heng Blade — a weapon whose design is inspired by historical artifacts and created for fierce, devastating close combat. Its power will be fully revealed by the accompanying "Stonesplit - Strength" path.

Creating an authentic and seamless journey remains the top priority. Continuous optimization work is underway on all platforms to ensure every traveler's path through the jianghu is smooth and deeply immersive.

Special attention is being paid to conveying the rich cultural layer of the Hexi region, filled with references to history and traditions. This requires meticulous cultural adaptation, going far beyond literal translation, to authentically convey the spirit of the legends. Simultaneously, language support is being improved in already released regions, which should provide a cohesive and rich experience for the entire global community.
