Exactly five years after its PC debut, the Greek studio Dragonis Games, in partnership with publisher Iphigames, has officially unveiled The Shore: Enhanced Edition — a port of their horror game The Shore for current-generation consoles.

Full optimization for modern hardware is promised. This means support for 4K resolution, a stable frame rate (presumably 60 FPS), and significantly improved lighting, which is critically important for conveying the oppressive atmosphere of the foggy island. No changes will be made to the story or other aspects of the game.

The exact release date for the console port is currently unknown, but the developers plan to release it sometime in 2026.
