Lashana Lynch, Star of "No Time to Die," Discusses Her Role in Directive 8020
One of the main roles in the upcoming horror game The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020 by Supermassive Games is played by Lashana Lynch, star of the film "No Time to Die."
In a brief interview, the actress said she immediately accepted the offer to participate in the project.
"I wanted to play a pilot again, I like roles of strong women, and I've never worked on a video game before. So they didn't leave me much choice," Lashana stated.
She also noted that the story will be full of stressful moments and unexpected twists. Drawing parallels between herself and her character, Lynch said she would have tried harder to maintain calm and rational thinking in crisis situations.
To recap, Directive 8020 will tell the story of astronauts who make an emergency landing on a distant planet and encounter an aggressive alien life form. The game's creators were inspired by classic horror films—primarily "Alien" and "The Thing."
The release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series is scheduled for May 12.
