James Gunn Commented on Rumors About Grant Gustin Returning as The Flash
DC Studios head James Gunn responded to active discussions within the fan community about the possible return of actor Grant Gustin to the role of The Flash in the renewed DC cinematic universe.
The surge of rumors was sparked by published photos showing Gustin with his hair dyed blonde. Many fans interpreted this as a clear signal of preparation to return as Barry Allen. One fan even threatened a "riot" if the actor does not come back to the project.
Gunn replied to this statement with irony: he noted that he regularly hears such threats, yet no riot has ever been observed.
Currently, DC Studios has not officially confirmed Grant Gustin's involvement in future projects. However, the studio has previously stated that the character of The Flash will appear within the renewed "Gods and Monsters" universe. Casting for the role of Barry Allen has not yet been announced, and no specific names have been mentioned in connection with this role.
Grant Gustin himself has refrained from commenting on the rumors.
