Active Matter Shooter Gets UI Overhaul and New Overtime Raid "Lakeview: Firestorm"
The development team of Active Matter has released a fresh patch introducing significant changes to gameplay. The update touches on both visual interface elements and technical aspects, addressing accumulated issues and adding new content.
First and foremost, users will appreciate the redesigned music player interface — settings are now more convenient, and the overall look is more thoughtful. The raid preparation window has been significantly improved, and the templates window has been reworked, simplifying pre-mission setup. In the inventory, the sizes of slots and fonts have been noticeably increased, making information much easier to read. Furthermore, a flexible filtering system has been added. Players can now quickly hide or show specific items by clicking the right or left mouse button, respectively.
An important improvement concerns the compass; it now displays the distance to key points — be it extraction points and quests in raids or beacons in Nexus battles. This makes spatial orientation more intuitive and helps in planning routes more effectively.
The developers have also fixed a number of bugs that were bothering players. The recoil for the AN-94 "Abakan" has been restored after reconnecting to a raid. A bug that occurred when summoning Distorted for the "Hunter" class has been fixed. A crash that manifested when quickly purchasing items through an inventory slot has been eliminated. Additionally, the rotation timer is now correctly displayed again in the raid list — it previously sometimes disappeared.
In the "Cargo Port: Under Cover" raid, a PvP bonus is now available. Simultaneously, the reward system was adjusted, making participation in the raid even more profitable.
Particular attention is deserved by the new overtime raid "Lakeview: Firestorm," which is temporarily available in single-player mode. Players must venture into an alternate version of Lakeview, engulfed in flames. The location is swarming with burning Devourers, Burns, and traps. The objective is to investigate anomalous signals, find the sources of the fire, and successfully evacuate.
For safe passage through the raid, the developers recommend acquiring a fire extinguisher. It should be equipped in the weapon slot. It will not only extinguish fire but also neutralize a Burn or a fiery version of a Devourer in a matter of seconds.
