Second Season of Fallout Shows Significantly Lower Results Than the First
The second season of the series "Fallout" has started with more modest figures than the first part. According to The Hollywood Reporter citing Nielsen, 794 million minutes of viewing were recorded in the first week (from December 15 to 21).
For comparison, the full release of the first season in spring 2024 garnered 2.9 billion minutes in its first week.
The main reason cited for this difference is the change in release format. While the first season was released all at once, the second is being released weekly, one episode at a time. At the time of measurement, only the first episode was available to viewers.
It is important to note that Nielsen statistics only account for views on televisions in the United States.
