RKN Has No Reason to Unblock Roblox in Russia

Roskomnadzor (RKN) has officially confirmed to RIA Novosti that it sees no grounds for lifting the block on the Roblox gaming platform in Russia. Previously, some media reported that the company had begun complying with the regulator's requirements by implementing a user age verification system. However, judging by the agency's statement, these measures have proven insufficient.

Recall that access to Roblox was restricted in early December. Roskomnadzor cited as reasons the mass distribution on the platform of materials justifying extremism and terrorist activities, containing calls for violence, as well as LGBT propaganda (which is prohibited in the Russian Federation).
