The Royalty & Legacy DLC for The Sims 4 has been announced Electronic Arts and Maxis have unveiled a major new expansion pack, The Sims 4: Royalty & Legacy. Players will be able to create their own royal dynasty, building their career through prestige, appointing heirs, and even declaring family members outcasts. Any character can claim the throne, but the path to power will be full of intrigue, duels, struggles for influence, and difficult moral choices.

The expansion takes place in the new world of Ondarion, which consists of three regions with different atmospheres: hospitable Dambele, picturesque Verdemar, and elegant Bellacord. Here you can live in a palace, attend balls, develop your fencing skills, and participate in the politics of a kingdom where the throne is still vacant.

The scandal system plays a special role: forbidden romances, secret children, and public exposés will directly affect relationships, careers, and the prestige of the dynasty. Depending on the player's reaction—repentance, denial, or anticipation—the consequences can vary, up to and including the loss of title.
