Visions of Eternity Raids & Wardrobe, a Major Guild Wars 2 Update, Has Been Released

A major update, Visions of Eternity Raids & Wardrobe, has been released for Guild Wars 2. It adds a new raid, Guardian’s Glade, a raid quick-play system, a completely overhauled raid system, and new wardrobe templates.

Raids have received significant changes: Strike Missions are now called "raid encounters." You'll find them in the new raid interface. If you are a squad leader, you can even choose which encounter to join, including the option to fight a specific boss within a multi-stage raid wing. Leaders can also move the entire team between raid maps without having to exit them first.

In Guardian’s Glade, players face a new challenge — one of Castor's Guardians, a giant crustacean. Assemble a 10-player squad to prove your superiority in this new raid encounter. In 3 weeks, a challenge mode version will be launched.

Raid rewards have been updated, now using a unified currency that can be exchanged for rewards across different encounters and raid wings. New achievements have also been added.

Quick Play is now also available, where you can queue up with nine other players to battle in one of several pre-selected raid encounters. Everyone will receive bonuses that increase your chances of success regardless of team composition, because the main goal is to quickly jump into the action and enjoy the battle.

This update also adds appearance templates. Save cosmetic elements for armor, weapons, backpacks, dyes, and outfits into templates. Then you can switch between them whenever you want. By default, everyone has two free slots, and with the new patch, an in-game letter with free transmutation charges has appeared so everyone can try out the system.

The Wizard's Vault has also been updated: new rewards and improvements have been added, along with clearer objectives and greater flexibility. Changes have also been made aimed at protecting the in-game economy, particularly concerning passes in the Wizard's Vault store.

The patch also kicks off the Lunar New Year celebration and the start of the event quarter, which will include four bonus events, including for PvP, as well as the return of the Super Adventure Festival.
