The release of the space action-strategy game The Last Starship has taken place.

Tim Cain, one of the authors of Fallout, has completed a five-year period of remote work as a consultant and now works full-time at Obsidian Entertainment in California. Previously, he worked as a freelance contractor for Obsidian and other studios but noted that this format requires constantly searching for new projects. Now he is focused exclusively on working with the Obsidian team as an in-house consultant. Cain emphasized the benefits of office work, noting that the most valuable and spontaneous discussions with colleagues — from artists to designers — happen in person. According to him, as a contractor, such informal conversations were rare because colleagues might hold back to "not waste his paid hours."
