It's happened! A couple of hours ago, the developers from Ice-Pick Lodge announced the release of Pathologic 3, rolling out the official trailer.

The new game is a remake of Bachelor Dankovsky's story campaign from the original “Pathologic.” As before, the hero has only 12 days to uncover the causes of the Sand Plague epidemic engulfing the Town-on-Gorkhon.

Unlike the Haruspex in Pathologic 2, the Bachelor doesn't have to scavenge through trash for survival resources. Instead, as a man of science from the Capital, he takes charge of the town, imposing his own rules—which, naturally, not everyone will welcome. To fulfill his mission, the hero instructs the old theater to be converted into a hospital, where he will examine patients daily, verify their testimonies, and continue searching for a cure.

The most notable feature of the threequel is an ambitious time-travel mechanic that allows gamers to make alternative choices within a single playthrough.

Pathologic 3 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Those who supported the developers of Pathologic 2 received the threequel at no additional cost. Others can take advantage of a 20% release discount valid until January 23.
