A Reddit user with the username tamodolo complained to Nintendo support, stating that the image quality after the update was inferior to the original. The company accommodated the request after investigating the issue, which may indicate a willingness to refund other dissatisfied customers.

The player also noted that the emulated 4K version via Cemu looks significantly better than the official update. With this move, he wanted to convey to Nintendo that the audience expects a completely different level of quality from re-releases. However, the support's decision may depend on the region of the request.
