The print run of Resident Evil Requiem has reached seven million copies — the developers celebrated the occasion by devouring two cakes.
Koshi Nakanishi — the director of Resident Evil Requiem — posted on that banned social network that the game has sold 7 million copies in about 2 mo. Apparently, no other entry in the series has hit that mark this quickly.
Requiem shifted roughly 1M more units in the past month (1M). The devs — Capcom JP — celebrated the milestone with cakes shaped like Leon and Grace; the obligatory food photo was, predictably, present. On Steam the game holds a 96% positive rating — not bad, honestly.
