Press Greets Dragon Quest VII Reimagined with High Scores

The plot follows a group of friends traveling through time. The heroes spent their lives on a small island where everyone believes there is nothing beyond that piece of land in the middle of the ocean. However, a mystical call and subsequent events prove this isn't entirely true. They take risks to change the past and find their place in an unusual world.
Most critics were satisfied. First and foremost, reviewers were pleased with the graphics. Executed in a diorama style, they add a fairytale quality and are simply a joy to behold. Despite all its flaws, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined managed to win over the majority of critics. Respect for the original and fresh ideas are what made the game an excellent remake. Overall, the new reviews only confirm the opinion formed during the preview period.
Perhaps the press would have shared more details if not for the ban on publishing content with story spoilers. It will be lifted once Square Enix's creation sees the light of day.
Recall that the game will release very soon — on February 5th. It will arrive on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and two generations of Switch.
