The Chinese New Year has reached the post-apocalyptic shooter Pioner — the game has received EA update 0.1.2 with a festive event and several major new features at once.

The temporary event "Festival of Snakes" invites players to help the merchant Yan Wenli charge his family's "Compass of Harmony." To do this, you need to collect Yin and Yang energy in new world events. Valuable items are promised as a reward.

Furthermore, GFA Games has introduced a paid Extra subscription. The developers emphasize that the service is completely voluntary and aimed at the most active players. Currently, a basic tier is available, but plans are in place to expand it with additional features in the future.
