The "Luna VII" update livestream for Genshin Impact will take place this Friday

The developers of Genshin Impact have announced a special stream for the "Luna VII" version. The broadcast is set for May 8, 2026 and will begin at 3:00 PM.

Travelers should expect a closer look at the next story chapter — plot beats and new quest hooks will be discussed. New characters will appear; some faces might feel familiar, others will catch you off guard. There will also be previews of in-game happenings and a handful of smaller notes (i.e., tweaks and clarifications), plus whatever surprises the stream team decides to toss in.
