The latest patch for Nioh 3 added the ability to mix and match equipment and simplified the first boss battle.
Fresh Nioh 3 Patch Adds Gear Mixing and Simplifies First Boss Fight
Today, developers from Team NINJA and Koei Tecmo Games delighted the audience with a fresh update for Nioh 3.
The main feature of the patch is the ability to mix gear from different styles. In addition, the developers fixed dozens of bugs and made various balance adjustments. Notably, the fight against the first boss (Yamagata Masakage) has become significantly easier, as players can now summon an ally in the form of Hide himself — the protagonist of Nioh 2.
The threequel is showing excellent results in its first month since release. The game has received high scores from both critics and regular gamers, and its initial sales surpassed the one million copies mark in just two weeks.
Nioh 3 is available on PC and PlayStation 5 with Russian text localization. The exclusivity for Sony's console will last at least six months, after which the game will likely be released on other platforms. Before purchasing, gamers can still try out the demo version.
