Publisher No More Robots and studio Size Five Games have announced the release date Earth Must Die — a classic quest with dark humor. Earth will have to die on January 27.

Earth Must Die presents its story from an unusual point of view. The main character is an alien tyrant named Vvalak the Lizard-Tongued, who decides to take revenge on Earth after a series of humiliating and, in his opinion, completely unjust events. Together with his partner, a strange robot nanny named Milky, he sets out to destroy the planet and, at the same time, tells the story of his "great path to power."

The plot deliberately parodies science fiction clichés and old adventure quests from the 90s, not shying away from crude jokes and absurd monologues. At the same time, the structure itself remains true to the genre: the player explores locations, pokes at various interactive objects, solves puzzles, and advances through the story via dialogues and interactive scenes. The authors placed a special emphasis on the voice acting. The project features an impressive cast, including Joel Fry, Martha Howe-Douglas, Alex Horne, Ben Starr, Tamsin Greig (Tamsin Greig), Mike Wozniak, and other well-known British comedians and actors.

Only PC gamers on Steam will be able to embark on an epic quest to destroy the Earth in Earth Must Die. The game will not be localized into Russian.
