Horse Girls Head to America — Japanese Version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby Receives Beyond Dreams Update

Cygames has announced the arrival of a new career scenario called Beyond Dreams on the Japanese server of Umamusume: Pretty Derby as part of the game's fifth-anniversary celebration. It will focus on preparing your horse girl to participate in the Breeders' Cup. The release is scheduled for February 24, 2026. Considering the delay between the Japanese and global releases, the release date for the global version update is unknown.

While most career scenarios in Umamusume: Pretty Derby give you three years for training, Beyond Dreams will last only two and a half years. This is similar to the L'Arc scenario (where your horse girl participates in a unique version of the French Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe), which also has a shorter duration. Like in Aoharu, Beyond Dreams will feature team training.

According to Japanese reviewers who have already previewed the scenario, the Beyond Dreams campaign will focus on developing the speed (SPD) parameter, with a new maximum value of 2100. The scenario will also introduce new horse girls: Marche Lorraine, Red Desire, and Forever Young.
