The hardcore role-playing game Nested Lands will be released in early access on January 23 — watch the trailer

The hardcore role-playing game Nested Lands by 1M Bits Horde has received an early access release date for PC — January 23, 2026. To mark the occasion, publisher META Publishing has released an atmospheric trailer. Russian localization is confirmed.

The player faces a difficult task — ensuring the survival of a medieval settlement. It will be necessary to construct buildings, upgrade them, gather herbs, raise animals, hunt, and defend the peasants from enemy incursions.

But while enemy blades are dangerous, the plague sweeping through the grim world like a forest fire is far more perilous. Without medicine, the local inhabitants will perish faster than any villain can reach them. Therefore, one must also deal with the disease.

One of the preventive measures was already shown in the trailer. The video literally begins with a call to hand over corpses. At the end, they are gathered into a pile and burned on a pyre.

Such care for the settlers is not merely an act of mercy. The peasants take on most of the domestic chores and supply tasks. They can also build and practice crafts. However, not all of them will be hanging on the protagonist's every word. One will have to work hard to earn authority and lead the community to prosperity. Or at least avoid driving it into the ground completely.
