The full version of Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be more difficult than the demo, claims the producer
Last week, Capcom released a demo of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Reaction was mixed — a chunk of players found the sample too forgiving. Action producer Akihito Kadowaki replied that the retail build will be tuned to feel tougher.
Capcom posted a short video from Kadowaki. He says the demo pulls from an early campaign stretch, and that devs even handed the protagonist some later-stage skills so viewers could see more of the moveset. The promise: the final game should make encounters — from common grunts to named bosses — more of a pain.

Recall that in the new Onimusha, you play the young samurai Miyamoto Musashi. A special glove gives him superhuman strength (i.e., extra power beyond normal). He’ll be cutting through demons that have seeped into Kyoto from the underworld — pretty myth-heavy stuff, honestly.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword launches on September 25 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series (X/S), and Switch 2. Russian voice-over (rus VO) is confirmed.
