The EverQuest 2 team has revealed some details about the new TLE server Wuoshi
The developers of EverQuest II have released specifics on the new TLE server Wuoshi, which is set to arrive at the start of next month. If you hold an All Access sub., the server opens on June 9, 2026.
Wuoshi will operate as a standard, time-locked server: free trading enabled, PvP disabled. Content available at launch covers everything up through Echoes of Faydwer; after that, expansions will unlock on a three-month cadence until Chaos Descending is live. The devs note that classes introduced in Echoes of Faydwer are playable immediately, while classes from later expansions come online with each respective release.
The starting area is expanded compared with some previous TLEs, which means most 2026 in-game events that fall after launch can go ahead unchanged — Tinkerfest being the notable exception. That tweak keeps many seasonal activities intact for the new population, though it does shift how a couple of festivities will be experienced.
One last change: Hunter rewards are being removed. Community feedback, according to the team, suggested those rewards made certain encounters feel too easy, so the decision was to pull them; some players will miss the shortcut, others will welcome the stricter pacing.
