The duration and system requirements of the new fable have been revealed

After Gamescom 2026, a bunch of fresh details about the new Fable surfaced — this one is billed as the franchise revival. The FAQ on the official website puts completion time at up to 40 hrs (that includes side activities); if you stick to the main story only, expect about 15–20 hrs. Gameplay was shown at the show, with most attention on the combat system. Oddly, the creator of Ori wasn't impressed and dismissed the battles as "a whole bunch of basic elements."
