Developers of The Gold River Project Advise Players with Low FPS to Enable DLSS or FSR
The six-person studio has released the game The Gold River Project in Early Access on the Unreal Engine 5 and has already received active feedback from the community.
In an official statement, the team thanked everyone who joined the game on its first day of release, noting the "incredible" level of support and feedback received.
One of the main concerns for players has been performance. The developers explained that since the project utilizes the advanced capabilities of Unreal Engine 5, it has high hardware requirements. To check in advance if their system can handle the game, the team strongly recommends trying the free demo version. Its advantage is not only in testing FPS, as progress from the demo carries over to the full version of the game.
To improve performance, the developers provided specific technical advice: if the graphics card supports scaling technologies, it is necessary to activate NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR in the video settings. According to the team, this can significantly improve the frame rate without a noticeable loss in image quality.
The team acknowledges that at this stage the game is not without its issues and states that performance optimization is currently the top priority. The developers assure that they are carefully reviewing all bug reports and working to resolve them as quickly as possible.
The first patch, aimed at addressing the most critical issues noted by players, is already scheduled for release today. The developers intend to consistently improve stability and enhance the gaming experience.
