The Authors of Terminator: Survivors Talk About "Game World Authenticity," Yet They're Shoving a T-800 Into It, Which Is Absolutely Against the Lore

Nacon Studio Milan has shared details about the development of Terminator: Survivors. The studio is creating the game, drawing inspiration from cult classics ranging from System Shock to The Last of Us, and promises the most authentic experience in the Terminator universe. The team's main goal is to create a world where players can choose their own path.

The developers offer freedom in tactical decisions: from direct firefights to stealthy maneuvers. The world will be fully interactive—players will be able to influence the environment in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, use vehicles, and encounter Skynet patrols. A separate challenge is the T-800, conceived as an unstoppable threat requiring a strategic approach.

The game's plot will unfold within the classic motifs of the first two films, with attention to cinematic storytelling. In the near future, the studio plans to show the first gameplay materials and provide more details about the project's timeline. Fans can already ask the developers questions via a Google Form.
