In recent days, users noticed that the Steam Deck OLED has disappeared from sale in the USA, Canada, and Japan. Valve confirmed temporary disruptions, explaining them as a shortage of RAM and storage drives. The company warned that the console might periodically vanish from virtual shelves depending on component supplies.

At the time of publication, the terabyte model is available for order again. Meanwhile, Valve reminded that the base Steam Deck LCD version with 256 gigabytes of storage has been permanently discontinued. Once current stocks run out, it will no longer be possible to purchase it.
