Cute Strategy Game Atre: Dominance Wars Gets a Demo

The fantasy strategy game Atre: Dominance Wars has unexpectedly received a demo ahead of the start of the February Steam Next Fest. Ironward's project balances between classic 4X, hero management, and role-playing branching narratives capable of changing the world.

The player assumes the role of an Ancient, striving for divinity in a reality shattered by the cataclysm known as the Convergence. Four worlds have merged into one, and competitors are ever-vigilant.

The demo offers a prologue, a tutorial, and about an hour of gameplay in skirmishes or online — roughly two hours to get acquainted with the mechanics. The release is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026. Progress won't carry over, but it's worth a try.
