The Cube, Dinoblade, Towerborne Exit from Early Access — Highlights from New Game+ Showcase 2026
Full event recording.
Last night the New Game+ Showcase took place, which on paper seemed like a good idea—a presentation created “by gamers for gamers.” However, many viewers dubbed the show a “borefest” lasting almost 4 hours, where the hosts wouldn’t stop talking.
Nevertheless, 45 games were showcased, and we have selected the most interesting ones.
The Blood of Dawnwalker
The team at Rebel Wolves presented gameplay for the upcoming The Blood of Dawnwalker and revealed more details. For instance, the vampire lord Brensis, acting as the antagonist, will react to the protagonist's actions. The game will also feature a romantic relationship system, more about which will be disclosed later.
The Blood of Dawnwalker launches in 2026 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series without Russian language support.
Crimson Desert
A developer from Pearl Abyss answered a slew of questions about the RPG Crimson Desert, which balances between fantasy and science fiction. Players will be able to fight dragons and fly on them, with the project being about twice the size of Skyrim, and the map surpassing Red Dead Redemption II. All this space will be filled with activities and missions, as “an open world should be interactive,” believes Pearl Abyss.
Crimson Desert releases on March 19 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series with Russian subtitles.
The Cube
A spiritual successor to Atomic Heart, it aims to expand the universe created by Mundfish. Expect many shared elements, like modified Twins as bosses.
The Cube is being prepared for PC and “current consoles.” No release date yet.
Where Winds Meet
The creators of Where Winds Meet brought a gameplay snippet showing a new boss, appearing in version 1.2—update releases today. The opponent transports the protagonist into a world of paper and ink, transforming into other bosses.
Where Winds Meet is currently available on PC (Steam), PS5, and mobile devices. No Russian translation.
Towerborne
The side-view action RPG Towerborne will leave early access on February 26. The full version will offer a complete storyline with a final battle, two new bosses, lesser-ranked enemies, a reworked difficulty system, and more.
Towerborne is already available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series via early access, with the full version also coming to PlayStation 5. Includes Russian text localization. Available on Game Pass as well.
The Division 2 and The Division 3
A brief interview was given by executive producer Julian Gerighty, responsible for The Division 2: Survivors mode for the sequel and the free-to-play mobile MMO The Division Resurgence. Gerighty promised new mechanics for Survivors, like changing weather conditions, while maintaining the signature gameplay and controls fans love. The addition will launch sometime in 2026.
As for the mobile Resurgence, the team is making final preparations before release. The project doesn't have a release date yet, but regional beta tests are actively conducted.
The producer also stated that The Division 3 is in development. He didn’t share fresh details but mentioned that the game “will be a beast.”
Grounded 2
The developers of Grounded 2 at Obsidian are working on a major content update for the bug survivor game. It will add a new biome, more insects like crickets and earwigs, a ladybug vehicle, and more. The update's exact release date is yet to be known.
