The creators of Splitgate are working on a new shooter in the spirit of Titanfall and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

1047 Games, the studio behind the futuristic shooter series Splitgate, is working on another shooter — according to a report.

What little has leaked points to a game built around dynamic character movement. Fans of Titanfall and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 might recognize the feel (e.g., those who enjoy wall-running and momentum-driven combat). The team plans to invite those players to an early playtest; applications are already open.

They’re not abandoning Splitgate — development on the new title is happening in parallel. Meanwhile, Season 2 of Splitgate: Arena Reloaded lands on April 16, bringing new maps and weapons among other additions (i.e., fresh content to try while the studio builds the next shooter).
