The creator of God Eater acknowledged the demand for a new game in the series and urged fans to express their interest to Bandai Namco.
No big reveals came out of Famitsu's broadcast celebrating the 40th anniversary of the God Eater series — but Hiroshi Yoshimura, the creator and a director at Bandai Namco Studios, was on camera and talked about the franchise's place in his work. He wandered through memories of making God Eater and mentioned Code Vein, too (brief career recap, i.e., the highlights fans expect).
When the inevitable question about a new entry came up, Yoshimura didn't offer news — he said plainly he has nothing to announce. His tone carried a little hesitation; you could tell the series still matters to him on a personal level, and that the team keeps getting fan requests and reads them. He encouraged players to keep speaking up to Bandai Namco reps if they want a return — basically, tell them directly, esp. if you want to be heard.
