The Chinese version of ARC Raiders will feature not only a PvE mode but also two bosses on the map
The Chinese edition of ARC Raiders is stirring talk beyond its usual circles — players are curious because this build carries map quirks you'll not find elsewhere. Tencent is handling the local release under license from Embark; Embark, however, isn't directly creating the region-specific content, i.e., Tencent is responsible for the extras.
A few special modes will arrive with the regional client, each altering how a drop plays out:
- Security Protocol — PvE (i.e., no aggression from other players); a run that feels more like a co-op mission than a scramble for kills.
- Advanced Probes — changes to the map-probing mechanics, so you’ll approach objectives differently than in standard matches.
- All-Domain Alert — the threat level ramps up across the drop zone, not gradually but in sharper, more hectic spikes.
Then there's the Dual Boss setup: both the Queen and the Matriarch spawn together, standing over a single Harvester packed with high-value loot. Alone, each boss forces careful prep; together, they turn the fight into a hard, chaotic negotiation of priorities — split attention, split resources, and a real test of teamwork (or, if you prefer, controlled mayhem).
