The Blood of Dawnwalker received hotfix 1.0.4 - fixed issues with quests, saves, and stability

Rebel Wolves has released hotfix 1.0.4 for The Blood of Dawnwalker (listed as 1.005 on consoles), targeting several bugs and stability problems that could interrupt play or block progression.

  • fixes several issues that blocked quest progression;
  • resolves an error that prevented game saving;
  • fixes cases where Cohen could get stuck inside houses and caves;
  • eliminates infinite loading during the “On the Run” quest;
  • fixes several issues with dialogues and NPC appearances;
  • restores the ability to block attacks in certain situations;
  • fixes music stopping in the prologue;
  • resolves FPS drops when connecting controllers via legacy GameInput in the Steam version;
  • fixes VSync behavior when using FSR Frame Generation on PC;
  • prevents torches from uncontrollably increasing in size.

Alongside these gameplay fixes, the patch delivers a range of visual and technical corrections. Rebel Wolves describes this as a small hotfix focused on removing the most critical issues affecting play. The studio says it remains actively supporting The Blood of Dawnwalker while also working on the next installment.
