The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales has been released
Square Enix has put out The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium — an HD-2D RPG from the same devs who made Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default. It isn’t a turn-based throwback; combat runs in real time, which changes the pace quite a bit.
You follow Elliot and his fairy companion through the Gates of Time, trying to lift a curse that threatens a princess. The map spans four different eras, each with its own mood:
- The Era of Preservation — Elliot’s more or less familiar present.
- The Era of Reconstruction — a harsh period where people struggle to get by.
- The Era of Magic — when society reaches a high point of wealth and wonder.
- The Era of Bloom — early days, the dawn of organized human settlements.
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. No Russian localization is included. Want to try it first? There’s a demo available.
