Dying Light: The Beast Marks First Anniversary With Player Statistics and Upcoming Physical Release

Techland is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Dying Light: The Beast with in-game festivities and a new infographic report. Titled "Unfolded," the report details player activity over the past twelve months in the world of Castor Woods.

Since launch, players have eliminated 8.6 billion enemies, ranging from standard infected to more dangerous mutant variants. Total playtime across all users amounted to 11,000 years, with 52 million sessions started and one billion in-game tasks completed.

The statistics also shed light on player behavior in combat and crafting. Volatiles were responsible for the most player deaths, claiming 39 million lives. For crafting, repair kits proved the most collected resource, surpassing even standard bandages and lockpicks in demand.

Alongside the anniversary data, the studio highlighted the performance of the co-op mode, which has brought together 1.7 million players. Techland also reminded fans that the physical edition of Dying Light: The Beast is set to release soon.
