FURIA's CS2 Rifler Believes Train is Better than Anubis Competitively
FURIA's Counter-Strike 2 rifler Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato recently spoke out in an interview about changes to the map pool, as well as the team's mood and future plans. In particular, the player focused on comparing Train and Anubis.
On the map rotation:
"...On a map like Anubis, there is an opportunity to do many different things because of aggressive players like me, YEKINDAR, FalleN, and molodoy... The developers still need to work on this map to make it more balanced, because right now there is a very strong bias towards the attacking side."
Recall that Anubis replaced Train due to the latter's low popularity. However, many players were unhappy with the changes. Among them was FURIA's sniper Danil "molodoy" Golubenko, who also criticized the rotation. However, the roster's coach Sydney "Sidde" Macedo believes that his charges are not entirely right. As an example, the mentor cited the sniper's results on the location, which are quite good despite the player's dislike for the map.
On goals for 2026:
"It's a difficult question, but I would say I want to win more tournaments, keep myself in good playing shape, and grow as a player."
Earlier, analyst Jacob "Pimp" Winneche analyzed FURIA Esports' performance in 2025. The team won 4 tournaments, but was eliminated in the quarterfinals at the major in Budapest. Currently, the team has advanced to the semifinals of BLAST Bounty Winter. The championship is divided into two stages - a group stage, which takes place online, and a playoff with matches at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta. A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament, and its prize pool is $1,150,000.
