Team Fortress 2 will celebrate Halloween with a big tournament for players of all skill levels

Heads-up, TF2 fans — the CLTF2 community is running a special Halloween Cup for players of Team Fortress 2. Matches will be fought on maps with a Halloween vibe, so expect more pumpkins and spooky props than usual.

The format is the classic Highlander 9v9: each team needs nine players and should make full use of every class. Strategy matters — roles, swaps, and timing can decide a round (e.g., sticky traps or timely overheals). Open sign-ups mean anyone can join, regardless of skill or region.

Registration is open now and closes on September 6. Once sign-ups end the organizers will set the initial matchups and publish the schedule. So round up your squad early — pumpkins won’t shoot themselves, and last-minute scrambles are no fun.
