Sword Hero in the spirit of "Gothic" raises ten times its target amount on Kickstarter
The role-playing game Sword Hero has concluded its Kickstarter funding campaign with incredible success. The project, inspired by the classic "Gothic," attracted the attention of over 10,000 backers and raised more than $1.1 million. Initially, the developers planned to raise $100,000.
According to the developer, the achieved figures are a sign of faith in Sword Hero's future success. The next important stage will be the release of the RPG's alpha version. Moreover, with the funds raised, the game's author will enlist external help so that the programming, game design, mechanics, and other elements of Sword Hero are not solely on the shoulders of one person.
The creator of Sword Hero also revealed another significant achievement. The game has been added to the wishlists of over 275,000 Steam users.
