Super Meat Boy 3D coming soon to Switch 2
The notoriously brutal platformer Super Meat Boy 3D is being prepared for Nintendo Switch 2. All versions are slated for 2026, and the title will also appear on Xbox Game Pass.
The devs aren’t sugarcoating it: expect repeated retries, nasty timing traps, and bosses that demand pattern mastery. They’ve teased intensified Dark World stages that crank up the punishment, and there are hidden routes and surprises scattered through levels — you’ll need patience (and maybe a few throwaway controllers).
Music comes from Steve Marois of Despised Icon; reportedly he spent two yrs. crafting one track, which suggests an oddly meticulous approach to a single piece of the soundtrack.
A new trailer for the Switch 2 version has appeared online, offering quick glimpses rather than full explanations.
